Expectations

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services with successful projects history
  • Demonstrated competency of the following AWS services is essential:
  • EC2, ECS, EBS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, WAF, Redshift, ElastiCache
  • Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language (Python/ Java/ TypeScript)
  • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
  • Experience with one or more AWS SDKs and/or CLI
  • Expertise in leveraging Automation/DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, SAM, CDK, ...)
  • Broad knowledge of GitOps
  • AWS Associate level certification is required (Solution Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate, Developer Associate)
  • A university degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification is an advantage
  • Open-minded, communicative, with presentation skills
  • Self-starter, proactive and goal-oriented
  • Reliable, able to take full ownership of the assigned tasks or projects
  • Fluent in English is a must; Another European language is preferred

What you should have and know

  • 4+ years working experience in tech industry solution selling with proven success
  • Understanding IT, Cloud Computing, Cloud services market and be aware of the current trends in the industry
  • Experience with selling CDN and consulting services and/or knowledge of AWS is not essential but strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design a digital marketing strategy and execution plan, in line with company strategy and objectives
  • Define target audiences, value propositions, and campaigns to boost net new sales, upsell, and retention
  • Develop and execute outbound/ inbound marketing strategies to generate leads and increase brand awareness for our services
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM (PPC), content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC) to drive qualified traffic and leads
  • Utilize available AWS marketing tools, resources, and support
  • Contribute to content creation such as blog posts, YouTube videos, case studies, white papers, and ebooks to attract and educate our target audience
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics for maximum effectiveness and provide regular reports
  • Update our websites in line with SEO/SEM programs, and optimize digital conversion
  • Manage company’s social media profiles: Develop and execute a strategy for audience growth
  • Keep an eye on the competition, and market trends, and utilize sales and customer feedback to keep a competitive advantage through superior marketing propositions
  • Suggest and introduce innovations in marketing approaches, tools, online presence, products
  • Work closely with sales colleagues and AWS teams to maximize resources and streamline all marketing initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge about our services, technologies we work with and the industries we target

Desired qualifications, experience and personal attributes

  • Native/bilingual or full professional proficiency in English is a must
  • At least 3 years of proven B2B marketing experience - essential
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful outreach campaigns preferably in a similar industry or with a focus on technology services - essential
  • General knowledge of AWS portfolio and cloud computing principles - essential
  • Previous experience in digital-native, cloud services, or data-driven companies - highly preferred
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification - highly preferred
  • Experience with creative content creation (e.g., video editing, graphic design).- preferred
  • Results-focused and with a successful track record of overperforming targets
  • Energetic, creative, and customer focused and with a can-do positive problem-solving attitude
  • Solid analytical skills, business acumen, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • High energy and proactivity coupled with a can-do, positive attitude toward any work challenge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional working proficiency in German/French/Spanish/Czech/Slovak is a plus
